Maserati GT Sport a Ginevra
Maserati svelerà al Salone di Ginevra 2012 la nuova GranTurismo Sport, la versione più potente mai prodotta della famosa coupè: 460 cavalli generati dal motore 4,7 litri V8.La nuova GT Sport sostituirà la Maserati GranTurismo S che sarà svelata proprio in occasione della manifestazione svizzera del prossimo marzo. Si tratta della versione sportiva della celebre vettura, più potente dell'intera gamma, pronta per andare ai vertici del marchio.
Il motore è un 4,7 litri V8 benzina di origine Ferrari, che in questo caso eroga 460 cavalli (dieci aggiuntivi rispetto alla più anziana Maserati GranTurismo S).
Il propulsore viene connesso all'asse posteriore e viene abbinato ad un cambio automatico sequenziale con convertitore automatico o ad un cambio robotizzato a sei marce con paddles al volante.Non ci sono ancora informazioni riguardo alle prestazioni, tuttavia si può immaginare che sarà più veloce di Maserati GranTurismo S (raggiunge i cento chilometri orari da ferma in 4,9 secondi e tocca i 295 chilometri orari di velocità massima).
Per quanto riguarda lo stile la nuova Maserati sarà riconoscibile per la nuova fascia paraurti frontale (che meglio convoglia l’aria al motore e ai freni anteriori), per i nuovi gruppi ottici anteriori con sistema di illuminazione diurna a LED, per i gruppi ottici posteriori lievemente bruniti e per alcuni altri dettagli all’interno dell’abitacolo (volante e sedili ridisegnati con un look decisamente più sportivo). L'ingresso nel mercato è previsto per il prossimo autunno, al fianco di Maserati GranTurismo 4.2 V8 e di Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale.
