Si tratta semplicemente della Jaguar di serie più potente mai prodotta.
Un modello speciale in versione coupé della classica XKR, ancora più sportiva nel telaio e nell’estetica.
L’iniezione di potenza è sostenuta da un 5.0 V8 portato a 550 CV e 680 di coppia massima, in grado di lanciare il veicolo a 300 km/h scattando da 0 a 100 km/h in 4,4.
Il disegno è maggiormente aerodinamico rispetto alla parente XK, con appendici fisse di grandi dimensioni e un’aggiunta di prese d’aria. Da questa vettura inoltre è presa l’idea dei fari anteriori con un taglio più aggressivo, dettaglio che è stato successivamente riproposto sull’intera gamma nella versione restyling.
