La MINI Roadster è il sesto modello dell’attuale gamma della casa automobilistica premium britannica e la prima due posti aperta nella storia del brand. Dei motori potenti e la sofisticata tecnica di assetto, tarata con precisione alle particolarita del modello roadster, garantiscono il caratteristico go-kart feeling.

La classica capote in tessuto si lascia aprire e chiudere manualmente in modo semplice e veloce ed offre le premesse ideali per sfruttare ogni occasione e godersi un intenso divertimento open-air. Nella MINI Roadster, la protezione degli occupanti viene ottimizzata attraverso due roll-bar sistemati dietro i sedili. Sia a capote aperta che chiusa il bagagliaio ha un volume di 240 litri. Una maggiore versatilità viene messa a disposizione dall’ampia apertura di carico passante tra bagagliaio e abitacolo.

Il trasferimento autentico del tipico linguaggio formale del marchio alle proporzioni di una roadster dona alla due posti un appeal inconfondibile ed irresistibile. Anche a capote chiusa la MINI Roadster si presenta con un profilo elegante e slanciato dal quale spicca, soprattutto nella zona di passaggio dal tetto alla coda, il caratteristico three-box-design. Degli stilemi di design nel caratteristico stile MINI emettono dei segnali univoci sull’appartenenza del nuovo modello al marchio britannico.

Al momento di lancio la MINI Roadster sarà disponibile con quattro potenti ed efficienti motori a benzina e diesel. La gamma di motorizzazioni varia dalla MINI Cooper Roadster (90 kW/122 CV) alla MINI Cooper SD Roadster (105 kW/143 CV) fino alla MINI Cooper S Roadster (135 kW/184 CV) e all’atleta top di gamma da 155 kW/211 CV MINI John Cooper Works Roadster.

Assetto: agilità e precisione per garantire il massimo divertimento di guida
Anche nella MINI Roadster, il tipico divertimento di guida viene assicurato dalla sofisticata tecnica di assetto e un minuzioso lavoro di taratura, che non offre nessun altro modello del segmento di appartenenza, in combinazione con i motori potenti e la tipica trazione anteriore del marchio. L’equipaggiamento di serie comprende un servosterzo elettromeccanico con servoassistenza funzionante in dipendenza della velocita e il sistema di regolazione della stabilita di guida DSC (Dynamic Stability Control). La modalita di trazione DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) con EDLC (Electronic Differential Lock Control), montato di serie nella MINI John Cooper Works Roadster e disponibile come optional in tutti gli altri modelli, assicura una guida ancora pi stabile e sicura su fondi scivolosi e una maggiore sportività nelle curve percorse dinamicamente.

Ottimizzazione dell‘equilibrio dei pesi e delle caratteristiche aerodinamiche
La scocca ad elevata resistenza torsionale con rinforzi specifici e un baricentro basso favorisce sia l’agilità e la maneggevolezza che la sicurezza della MINI Roadster. Alla protezione degli occupanti provvedono, oltre agli airbag frontali e laterali per testa e torace, anche il telaio estremamente rigido del parabrezza e i roll-bar in acciaio inossidabile lucidato, uniti fissi alla scocca. L’equilibrio aerodinamico della MINI Roadster viene ottimizzato da uno spoiler posteriore attivo che fuoriesce automaticamente a 80 km/h.

The MINI Roadster is the sixth model of the current range of premium British car manufacturer and the first two places open in the history of the brand. Powerful engines and sophisticated technical set-up, precisely calibrated to the particularity of the roadster model, provide the typical go-kart feeling.

The classic soft top lets you manually open and close easily and quickly and offers ideal conditions to take advantage of every opportunity and enjoy an intense open-air fun. In the MINI Roadster, occupant protection is optimized by two-roll bars fitted behind the seats. Whether the roof is open or closed the luggage compartment has a volume of 240 liters. Greater flexibility is provided from load-through opening between the trunk and passenger compartment.
